We had a set of traditional, pine dining chairs that needed to be painted to make them more modern. I initially attempted to do it myself, applying the base coat of primer to one of them in my living room. I gave up after not even finishing that first step on the first of six chairs. I checked out Yelp for local furniture refinishers and found Denise was located right around the corner from me. I reached out on email - she responded within a hour which was amazing. She came over to our place the next day to check out the chairs in person and give me an estimate. She was just a lovely person - knew right away that she was right for the job AND her stellar online reviews made me feel reassured about the quality of her work. The price was excellent and needless to say the job was extremely well done. We are very pleased with the transformation of these chairs and feel grateful to have met an awesome new friend in the neighborhood. We miss her in Hoboken!
